Events are changing. Social distancing needs to be incorporated in your event planning. Room capacity is only one of the areas needed to be addressed when planning your event. Ideally, decor choices and placement will accomplish achieving a sense of normalcy.
Our new brandable California Tables create the perfect social distancing support barrier for decor. The oval tops are 75X35 in size. Placing them 10 feet apart without stools are the perfect decor piece for any event to facilitate safety in an unobtrusive fashion.
Brandable Information Towers are the perfect tool to support distancing while sending your message in a decorative fashion. Our 6 foot to 10 foot towers can be added to purifier cases or supported by our 8 foot or 12 foot lighted columns.
SOCIAL events in the age of SARS
First, identify where you want to have your celebration .
Don't be shy. Ask your venue what systems and services they have in place to address CDC and State compliance.
The venue you choose should allow additional time; to disinfect the room, for vendors to clean/disinfect equipment before and after the event, and provide a staggered schedule for entry. Many venues may address compliance issues as additional line items or depending on suggestion use an outside vendor.
Anticipate additional cost for compliance. While we have staff that passed a course in Event Pandemic Compliance and know the requirements none of us are certified to manage an event. We will execute some elements of the plan , but accept no liability for its overall success. We can advise you what you need to consider to consider. We can make recommendations but what you choose to do is ultimately your choice. Self study with tools and papers provided by the CDC & FDA is a recommended option.
One option we offer is to address safety and compliance for all of our social clients with event signage that is suggested by the CDC and mandated by the state.
Another option is for event PPE equipment including paper towels, masks, hand sanitizers and appropriate disposal containers.

Small home based events have become popular in the Age of Covid. We have a unique approach to the celebration, the multi-day event.
Let's understand that no degree of cleaning and disinfection can guarantee your guests a 100% prevention of viral infection. However, we can greatly improve the probability of safety by wearing masks, social distancing and disinfecting hands, air and surfaces.
Delivery & set up are on Thursday or Friday prior to the event and Strike is on Monday or Tuesday.
This time frame allows the host to schedule guests and clean the space.
We provide powerful portable air purifiers with UVIG light that kill virus and other VOC particles in the air that are pushed through the unit at 325 cfm and trapped on a medical grade HEPA filter with almost 100% efficiency 99.9985.
We dress the garage with a custom personalized backdrop using professional pipe & base framing. A lot of Garages are 24XX24, some are larger. We will drape the entire garage for clients that need a high end look. But in most instances a 12 X 8 photo op backdrop is sufficient.
We can also provide other decor elements, centerpieces and lighting requested by the client.
We work with your venue to provide a safe and secure event experience.

To maximize profits many venues "turn" a room multiple times a day. Venues that do that have no way of assuring safety from infection.
Some venues have been caught allowing more that the FDA suggested number of guests. No excuse.
It may cost a few dollars more to have a venue dedicated to your bubble of guests.
Many have upgraded their HVAC systems to include HEPA filtration. Ask your venue of they use HEPA filtration, if not we can help. Even if they have upgraded it may not offer sufficient protection for the ballroom.
We also do a site visit to determine the level of protection you need for your event.
How many disinfection station are in the room and halls of the venue.
Does the venue do chemical surface mitigation or UVIG mitigation?

Again, and I can't emphasize this more, wearing a mask, social distancing and disinfecting hands, surfaces and air is paramount to having a safe event.
